About you We’re looking for someone with: Qualifications in an accounting/finance degree and CA qualification or equivalent 5 years of experience within accounting, finance, or audit Experience working with a government accounting function (highly desirable) Excellent technical accounting skills with experience applying standards to government projects Skills in financial reporting, management accounting, or budgeting A dedicated work ethic and a hunger for development opportunities Well-developed relationship management skills Excellent collaborative skills, precision thinking, and a dedicated work ethic Strong Excel skills, including working with macros Proven ability to analyze, summarize, and present large data sets Experience delivering finance or accounting advisory projects or internal improvements Experience managing various stakeholders effectively, both externally and internally Experience coaching and guiding team members in applying tools, guidance, and methodologies Federal Government security clearance is desirable and required for the role Due to client requirements, all candidates must undergo security clearance; only Australian citizens will be considered for this role.
